The oldest thing I’m wearing today is a pair of Sunflower earrings I made several years ago when I first started making jewelry. I remember picking out the sunflower buttons, carefully threading them onto wires, and adding the finishing touch of white, green and yellow wooden beads. These earrings have been with me through countless outfits, special occasions, and everyday moments. They hold sentimental value and remind me of my journey as a jewelry maker. As I continue to create new pieces and hone my skills, these sunflower earrings will always be a reminder of where it all began. They may not be the most glamorous or trendy accessory, but to me, they are priceless. What’s the oldest thing you’re wearing today and what memories does it hold?
