MEET THE ARTIST
Art for Every Stage of Becoming
I’m Shanique Dawkins, a Jamaican -born artist based in South Florida. I create portraits & symbolic mixed-media art inspired by identity, faith, and transformation.
MY STORY
Art lets me reflect, express, and grow. Through charcoal, pastel, acrylic, and mixed media, I explore the beauty and complexity of becoming.Â
My Jamaican roots, lived experiences, and faith shape the stories I tell, and the spaces I create for others to express themselves.
"Growing through art. Blooming in my own time."
