Shanique Dawkins
I am a multidisciplinary visual artist, author, and creative entrepreneur with a background in educational technology (EdTech). My work is rooted in storytelling, symbolism, self-discovery, and transformation, drawing inspiration from the art of becoming and the beauty found in both life’s quiet moments and its profound experiences.
Through art, adornment, and prose, I explore themes of self-growth, identity, and personal evolution. Creating allows me to capture emotions, experiences, and reflections that might otherwise go unnoticed, transforming them into meaningful stories and symbolic expressions.
Whether through a painting, a piece of jewelry, or a written word, I intend to create work that invites reflection, sparks connection, and inspires transformation. Each creation is thoughtfully crafted with purpose, emotion, and the hope of leaving a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of those who experience it.
