If I ever decide to get a tattoo, I will choose to have the phrase ‘Jah will provide‘ inked on my left inner wrist. This phrase, which is short for ‘Jehovah will provide,’ holds a deep personal significance for me. It serves as a reminder to trust in a higher power and have faith in the journey of life.
Deciding to get a tattoo is a personal choice and often holds significant meaning for the individual. The phrase “Jah will provide” is inspired by the 23rd Psalm, which was one of the first passages my grandmother taught me when I was a child. The chapter begins with the statement “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” This line serves as a powerful reminder that God will provide for me in every aspect of my life, just as a shepherd takes care of their flock and provides for their needs.
Whenever I look at my wrist, it will remind me that I am never alone. So, in times of uncertainty and fear, I trust in God and have faith in His plans for me. Whether I am facing challenges or celebrating blessings, I can find peace and strength knowing that God will provide for me and lead me on the right path.
